Description
The Scout is a hard-use, ready-for-every-adventure pocket knife that is just as useful in the backcountry as the backyard. Toss it in your pocket for those unexpected daily tasks.
Heavy-duty and ready for the campsite: these were the tenets we held to when designing the Scout.
• Textured micarta handle features a reversible, anti-rotation deep carry pocket clip, along with a lanyard hole and a glass breaker at the butt of the knife.
• The plain edge, drop point blade has a PVD coating that increases corrosion resistance.
• Thumbhole and pivot lock make this knife ambidextrous, so you can open and close it from left or right.
• Like all Gerber products, the Scout is backed by the Gerber Guarantee, our limited lifetime warranty.
You can’t predict what every adventure will bring, but whether you’re in the backcountry or the backyard, the Scout keeps you ready for it all.

- Carry a knife in public without good reason – unless it’s a knife with a folding blade 3 inches long (7.62 cm) or less, e.g. a Swiss Army knife (a “lock knife” does not come into the category of “folding pocket knife” because it is not immediately foldable at all times).
- Carry, buy or sell any type of banned knife.
- Use any knife in a threatening way (including a legal knife, such as a Swiss Army knife).
