Extremely Sensitive Thermal Sensor

The Guide TN430 uses a 400 × 300 17μm, ≤50mK NETD thermal sensor in combination with a powerful 35mm F1.2 objective lens to present high quality thermal imagery onto a high definition, full colour 1024×768 OLED display. These binoculars provide a detection range of up to 1000m when observing a 1.8m tall animal shaped object, or 2400m when observing a 2.3m x 2.3m vehicle. Offers an impressive 11.1° x 8.33° field of view, offering greater observation capabilities, and the 50Hz frame rate ensures that thermal imagery remains smooth and detailed, even when observed objects are on the move. For closer inspection of a target, the TN430 binoculars offer a base magnification of 2.3x, with a 1x-4x digital zoom, and eyepieces that can zoom to 13.8x.

Ergonomic Design

Adopting the traditional design aesthetics of a classic pair of daytime binoculars, TN430 thermal imaging binoculars will remain familiar and comfortable to use, whilst offering an immersive observation experience, with an adjustable interpupillary distance between 60mm-70mm. Its ergonomic design, including raised buttons to control digital functions, will reduce fatigue over long periods of observation and ensure quick and easy use in the dark.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder

The TN430 features a built-in laser rangefinder, offering a measuring distance of up to 600m with an accuracy of ±1m, allowing the user to gauge accurate distance measurements when observing objects in total darkness. Measurements can be taken in both single steps and continuous scanning modes.

Greater Accuracy

Accuracy can be improved even further through the use of the TN430’s ability to display a magnified image of an object of interest within the field of view, highlighting the magnified area within the upper 10% of the viewfinder. This intuitive function allows the user to focus on a specific object without losing control of the observation area.

6 Colour Palettes

The TN430 provides the user with 6 colour palettes, with one-button switching to make palette selection quick and easy. Colour palettes include white hot, black hot, red hot, green hot, iron red, and blue heat.

Multiple Scene Modes

Users can also take advantage of multiple scene modes – Enhance, Highlight, and Natural – with one-button switching available to assist in adaptive adjustment within different environmental scenarios and situations. Enhance and Highlight modes will reduce image impurities and highlight the observed target effectively.

Durability

Drop tested at 1m and with an IP66 waterproof rating, the Guide TN430 is protected against hard knocks, heavy rainfall, and dusty environments. Undeterred by harsh conditions, it will even remain effectively operational in extreme temperatures from -30°C to 50°C.

6 Hours of Battery Life

Remaining effective for the duration of observation, the TN430 uses removeable Li-ion batteries (x2), operating reliably for up to 6 hours on a single charge (depending on temperature).

Video Recorder

Users can capture unmissable moments with the TN430’s built-in still image and video recorder with audio. Videos or photos captured on the device can be stored on the internal 16GB of memory, or they can be stored, downloaded, and shared by connecting the device to the Guide app via Wi-Fi.

Mobile Connectivity

Connect the Guide TN430 to the TargetIR app to use a smartphone or tablet as a second screen, offering a live view straight to the user’s mobile device.

The app also allows full control over the TN430’s digital functions, offers remote recording and still image capture, as well as the ability to view, store, and share photos or videos captured on the device.

Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK.

Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or individual, to ensure that such a licence is obtained.
