Description

Powerful Thermal Optics

Designed to increase situational awareness both by day and after dark, the Mile M40-B19 can detect human, and animal heat sources with ease, allowing users to stay aware of activity within their observation area.

Featuring a 400×300, 17µm, <35mK NETD thermal sensor, combined with a 19mm f1.0 objective lens, the Mile M40-B19 will offer a detection range of up to 650m. For greater observation opportunities, this device offers a 20.4°x15.3° field of view and a 1.3x native magnification, with an 8x digital zoom capable of achieving a maximum 10.4x magnification in 1x, 2x, 4x & 8x steps.

Advanced Image Processing Algorithms

Pixfra’s advanced image processing algorithms work to present a much more vivid thermal picture, ensuring the image displayed on the device’s 1280×960 viewfinder is always crisp and well-defined, providing the user with good identification capabilities.

Adjustable Dioptre

The Mile M40-B19 features adjustable dioptre control, ensuring an image that always remains crystal-clear when viewed through the viewfinder. This control allows the device to be set to match the eyesight of different users, providing a more comfortable, fatigue-free viewing experience.

Stadiametric Rangefinder

A built-in stadiametric rangefinder allows the user to gauge distance measurements between themselves and an observed object. Marking the top and bottom of the observed object will allow the Mile M40-B19 to automatically ascertain the distance between object and user, allowing them to make well-informed decisions out in the field.

6 Hours Battery Life

A built-in rechargeable battery, the Mile M40-B19 will reliably offer an operation time of up to 6 hours (depending on temperature), allowing for extended periods of effective observation before a recharge is needed. The device can even be used with an external power supply to extend the operation time even further.

Colour Palettes

The Mile MB40-B19 offers four different colour palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, and Alarm. Each colour palette is intended to make thermal observation easier in ever-changing conditions, and are designed to enhance the viewing experience and allow the user to adapt accordingly.

Built-In Video Recorder

Capturing every moment during observation is made possible through the Mile M40-B19’s built-in still image and video recording capabilities. Videos and pictures can be stored on a MicroSD card with a capacity of up to 256GB.

Built-In Wi-Fi

A built-in Wi-Fi module allows this device to connect to the Pixfra App (see the APP tab above), meaning users can view what’s observed through the M40-B19’s lens directly on their connected smartphone. What’s more, this device allows for multiple phones to be connected simultaneously, allowing for group observation over several smart devices.

Laser Pointer

A built-on laser pointer is included in order to allow the user to pinpoint specific objects to team members when out in the field. To protect the eyes, the laser pointer automatically disables after 10 seconds of use.

Lightweight & Extremely Durable

Although this device is exceptionally lightweight at less than 450g, it is more than capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions thanks to its IP67 rating. This rating protects the monocular from dust and water ingress, and a 2m drop test also ensures that the Mile M40-B19 is more than durable enough to resist any bumps or knocks that may occur during observation or transportation. This monocular will even work unaffected in extreme temperature, providing excellent thermal imaging capabilities in -20℃ – +50℃.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Taking Thermal & Night Vision Outside of the UK.

Thermal imaging and night vision products are strictly controlled by ITAR regulations and are subject to UK Government Export Licensing Regulations. Dependent on specification, a licence may need to be obtained prior to the export, even temporarily (e.g. holiday), from the UK.

Additionally, some countries may be embargoed, and no thermal imagers or night vision devices can be taken or exported to them. It is the responsibility of the exporter, whether it be a company or individual, to ensure that such a licence is obtained.

Failure to comply is a criminal offence.
