A Fitting End To The Game Fair’s Time at Ragley Hall
We had the pleasure of attending the Game Fair 2023 as Pulsar — proud sponsors of Gunmakers Row. The show was once again set in the heart of the Midlands, hosted at the historic Ragley Hall, and the end of the weekend saw a fitting end to their time at the ground, with the announcement of their planned relocation to Blenheim Palace for 2024’s show.
Surrounded by the beautiful Warwickshire countryside, Ragley Hall provided the perfect setting for a record number of attendees to spend a weekend with like-minded shooters and outdoor sportsmen and -women. Check out how we got on in our video below.
Record Attendance
With almost 125,000 people at the show over the three days, attendance was at its highest on record, with an additional 5,000 attendees compared to last year’s show — so it came as little surprise that the Pulsar stand was exceptionally well attended, with particular interest taken in Pulsar’s eclectic selection of new devices.
Letting the Devices Speak For Themselves
The Merger LRF XQ35 was extremely popular thanks to its compact size, with several comments made about how comfortable they are to hold and how easy they would be to transport whilst out in the field; the Telos LRF XP50 was the star of the show when it came to handheld thermal imaging monoculars, with its upgradability being an exceptionally popular feature; the Krypton 2 FXG50 thermal imaging front attachment impressed with its complete redesign, with its improved ergonomics and better weight distribution shining through the moment it was picked up from the display; when it came to riflescopes, the new Thermion Duo DXP50 & DXP55 multispectral scopes wowed with their ability to offer stunning daytime optics and far-reaching thermal detection capabilities; and the Merger LRF XL50 blew visitors away with its exceptional image quality — especially once they realised how much detail it held once it had reached its full 20x magnification.
The weather may not always have been favourable, with a fair few downpours across the weekend — but this just worked to highlight just how well each and every Pulsar device can handle adverse weather conditions thanks to their IP67 waterproof rating and outstanding levels of thermal sensitivity.
